How I Started - I have been a keen photographer for many, many years and it certainly kicked up a gear when my children arrived in the late 90's! after meeting a good friend (in 2002) who after a long life love of every thing camera he set about encouraging me to push on to the next level... and in 2005 I took that mighty step and turned professional! I feel that to be a great portrait photographer you have to have passion for people and creativity; I absolutely love every minute of my craft and I will be forever grateful to all of the people who have supported me over the years!
My Best Skill - Putting people at ease in front of the camera...
My Worst Skill - Cold Calling... don't like getting cold calls and so hate to do the same to others!
Without my Camera would - still be working in an office trying to juggle hours and school runs...
My Style in Five Words - Easy Going, Relaxed, Creative, Prepared and Personable
More from me - My personality is very much reflected in every shoot I take on and over the years I have found that people tend to relax and be comfortable in my company fairly quickly whether that's at the studio or on location. I've been told on many an occasions that I am so laid back i'm practically horizontal! I also tend to talk endlessly when the occasion calls for it, which helps my clients to relax and enjoy their time in front of the camera.
My work philosophy - I like to respond to calls/texts & emails quickly – I hate being kept waiting, and when i’ve asked for information it’s because I want it straight away; so I try and make sure i do the same for anyone that contacts me!
I have been in the industry now for more than 12 years and have the skills, experience and knowledge on creating the best images possible for all of my clients. When you book with me you are making an investment; on my time, skills and style... and the fact that I share a lot of my knowledge with all the tips and tricks we need to create perfect and exclusive portraits for you, your business or family; and my prices have been set competitively to reflect this.
Thank you for taking the time to read this; I look forward to our paths crossing very soon...
