CONGRATULATIONS on your new arrival!
The majority of my parents are looking for Anne Geddes style newborn baby photos as part of their package; the best time to capture these is within your baby’s first couple of weeks, therefore it is advisable to book your studio session BEFORE your little one arrives.
In a baby friendly environment, I work at your little one's pace; being a mother, I understand how unpredictable babies can be. It is my aim to work in such a way that ensures your portrait session is as relaxed as possible.
Ideally your baby will be best dressed in a plain one piece outfit or better still, in their birthday suit! Clothes that work best for parents are black long sleeve tops, crisp white shirts (or T-Shirts) and dark coloured bottoms. A change of clothes is a good idea; as babies have a tendency to wait until you take their nappy off before they have a pee!
Baby photography sessions are never timed and are in a "go with the flow" format; usually lasting about 2 hours. I never rush a session, and I understand that your baby will need to stop for feeding and changing and also that he/she may just get a bit cranky and need a cuddle.
Overall this should be an enjoyable and memorable experience for the whole family. ****************************************************************
"I really enjoyed our Friday together, it would be nice to make this a regular thing, we have some great images and little ones grow too fast! - You're really easy going and because you've had kids you don’t make the mumma feel bad having to stop n start all the time. Friday was a long old shoot and I don’t think a man would have been as patient!!"
